Did you hear about this watch? Probably not, since it flew in under the radar for most. It could be too late for fans to get their hands on one since it was quiet on the launch but we are not ruling it out.
The Tsovet SVT-GR44 (Model No. Gg221010-7750) is a limited edition mechanical watch powered by the Valjoux 7750 movement. Each watch is limited and individually numbered 01 To 51. Just so you know, that’s the Porsche of watch movements. Porsche Design uses Valjoux movements as the base for their watches. The watch is sandwiched between refined sapphire crystal making it effortless to tell time. The face of the watch has a distinct matte finish with the watch hands designed to match. And don’t worry about the dark, the luminous markers and fill make it easy to read in low light conditions. The great accents for this watch fall on the chronograph button, selective deep red lettering and ending stiches on leather band.
This newest piece was made in collaboration with the Chip Ganassi Race Teams. Each 44 mm gun metal aerospace-grade 316L stainless steel case time piece is accompanied by a book that commemorates Chip Ganassi Racing Team’s 145 wins from 1994 to 2011. The commemorative book and limited edition time piece are presented in a custom designed wooden display box. The unfortunate part is there were only 51 made costing around $3k a piece.
